The Who are photographed for Life magazine by Art Kane at his studio and the Carl Schurz Memorial in Morningside Park asleep under two sewn-together Union Jack flags prepared by Kane. They are so tired from Keith's late-night antics that they actually go to sleep. The photo would be used in the June 1968 issue of Life in a feature titled "The New Rock" (see it here)
