Pete writes the music of "Day of Silence" while undergoing a day of silence for Meher Baba. He writes the lyrics the next day so as not to break his vow.
Originally released on Pete's "Happy Birthday" album. It would later be released as a bonus track on the 2006 release of "Who Came First".
