The Who tape an appearance on Russell Harty Plus at London Weekend Television Studios. After The Who mime their way through their new single "Relay," Pete "accidentally" tips over his speaker stack and the fun begins. Keith and Pete, with some help from Roger and John, quickly take over the interview. Host Harty later says he learned that "if your body should become a battleground, it is better to lie back and enjoy it." Clips from this show help enliven the movie The Kids Are Alright while "Relay" later appears on the Who's Better Who's Best laserdisc and VCD.
