During this month Roger's LP Can't Wait To See The Movie is released along with a single with the A-side from the movie The Lost Boys, a cover of Elton John and Bernie Taupin's "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" backed with "The Heart Has Its Reasons." In interviews at the time, Roger says he abandoned the traditional Who sound for a more modern and accessible style. Apparently it is not what buyers want from him as neither single nor LP make the charts.
