Pete is the keynote speaker at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. He uses the address to announce the successful completion of The Method, the computer software program Pete imagined in 1970 that would turn fans' personal information into musical sequences. Designed by mathematician and musician Lawrence Ball, the software will present applicants, called "sitters" with a series of questions that will then return a musical phrase that will belong to the sitter. A further press conference is announced for April 25th
