The Who are filmed holding an impromptu outdoor 5-song concert at the Duke of York's Barracks in the Kings Road for the NBC-TV (U.S.) show Today. Afterwards they are filmed running around Carnaby Street. The Today show airs the film on the 15th. Pete is also interviewed in his loft apartment at 87 Wardour Street for Dick Clark's U.S. TV show Where The Action Is. Pete discusses the necessity of being loud to get attention: “Volume is a fantastic thing. Power and volume! “ It airs on the 22nd and a clip from it later appears in the movie The Kids Are Alright.
